Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
March 12-18, 2018
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 108 incidents between the dates of Monday, March 12, and Sunday, March 18. Incidents included aggravated assault, two ambulance or medical assists, three animal problems, breaking and entering, controlled substance possession, controlled substance sale/manufacture, domestic violence, two driving under suspensions and eluding by motor vehicle.
Deputies also responded to a family problem, harassment, an intelligence report, three background investigations, four jail offenses, a juvenile problem, three keeping the peace incidents, three nonsufficient funds checks, two public service programs, reckless endangering, a sex offense, three traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, property theft, trespassing, four wanted persons and seven welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested eight persons between the dates of March 12 and March 18.
Matthew E. Arellanes, of Evanston, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance.
Justin K. Dunford, of Evanston, was arrested for strangulation of a household member.
Julia M. Estes, of Lyman, was arrested for failure to comply.
Kam J. Fanos, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for failing to appear.
Lucas M. Odle, of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, was arrested for reckless endangering, aggravated assault and battery, attempting to elude, a drug violation, being a fugitive from justice, and driving while under suspension.
Corey J. Roberts, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear and an out-of-county warrant.
Mathew J. Titmus, of Lyman, was arrested for alteration of vehicle identification numbers, driving while under suspension, a misdemeanor probation violation and theft of services.
Elia E. Valerio, of Evanston, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
