Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
June 19-25, 2017
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 113 incidents between the dates of Monday, June 19, and Sunday, June 25. Incidents included nine agency assists, three citizen disputes, two civil problems, controlled substance use, a civil process service, two dead bodies, disorderly conduct, two incidents of driving under suspension, a DUI, a family fight, two fires, fraud, harassment, a sex offense, three traffic accidents with property damage, three traffic accidents with personal injury, two incidents of vandalism, a wanted person and three welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested four persons between the dates of June 19 and June 25.
Felipe J. Ceballos-Garcia, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence, for reckless driving and for an Immigration and Customs hold.
Christopher S. Currie, of Lyman, was arrested for driving without an interlock device.
Janie L. Ortega, of Urie, was arrested for failing to appear.
James A. Sitz II, of Evanston, was arrested for larceny.
