Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 90 incidents between the dates of Monday, June 12, and Sunday, June 18. Incidents included seven alarms, six ambulance or medical assists four animal problems, a vicious animal, five agency assists, six citizen assists, a citizen investigative contact, a dead body, driving under suspension, an escort, a fire, an information report, a jail offense, a juvenile problem, two incidents of lost or found property, five livestock problems, a missing person, property damage (non-vandalism), two incidents of property destruction, two prisoner transports, two rancher contacts, two incidents of suspicion, a traffic accident with personal injury, theft, shoplifting, two incidents of trespassing, unsecure premises, vandalism, four wanted persons and a welfare check. 

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested six persons between the dates of June 12 and June 18. 

Brenda M. Brumme, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear and for failing to maintain insurance. 

Cheryl A. Bumgardner, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to pay child support. 

Billy K. Clark, of Heber, Utah, was arrested for felony probation violation. 

Jennie K. Grooms, of Colorado Spring, Colorado, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. 

Edward C. Halsten, Jr., of Kemmerer, was arrested for failing to carry proof of insurance, for a general regulation violation and for driving under suspension. 

Hector M. Valerio, of Evanston, was arrested on a court supervised sanction.
