Editor”s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff”s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff”s Office responded to 114 incidents between the dates of Monday, July 2, and Sunday, July 8. Incidents included an aggravated assault, two alarms, five ambulance or medical assists, four animal problems, an alcohol offense, simple assault, 14 agency assists, breaking and entering (Wasatch Rd.), non-residential burglary (State Hwy. 414), three citizen disputes, eight citizen assists, two controlled substance possessions, DUI, DUS and a family fight.

Other incidents included three fires, three fireworks incidents, an intoxicated person, two juvenile problems, seven livestock problems, minor in possession of alcohol, three prisoner transports, probation/parole violation, two traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, a traffic complaint, two telephone incidents, property theft, trespassing, vagrancy, two wanted persons and three welfare checks.

The Uinta County Sheriff”s Office arrested seven persons between the dates of July 2 and July 8.

Christopher S. Currie, of Lyman, was arrested for aggravated assault and battery.

Dexter D. Decker, of Lyman, was arrested for misdemeanor probation violation. 

Tyler R. Green, of Mountain View, was arrested for battery, minor in possession of alcohol, possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor probation revocation. 

Benjamin W. McCarroll, of Mountain View, was arrested for battery and the sale of liquor to a minor. 

Jordan J. Miller, of Lyman, was arrested for interfering with a peace officer and possessing a controlled substance. 

Adam J. Rhodes, of Mountain View, was arrested for possessing stolen property, child endangering and possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver. 

Tarrance D. Talbot, of Ogden, Utah, was arrested for criminal trespassing.
