Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
July 10-16, 2017
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 115 incidents between the dates of Monday, July 10, and Sunday, July 16. Incidents included 13 agency assists, breaking and entering, three citizen disputes, three citizen assists, marijuana possession, controlled substance possession, a discharged firearm, two drug tests, a family fight, a fire, two family problems, hitchhiking, four sex offender registrations, suspicion, four traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, threatening, two thefts, six wanted persons and seven welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested nine persons between the dates of July 10 and July 16.
Billy M. Ashley, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Jonathon P. Burkett, of Lyman, was arrested for failing to appear.
Michael R. Childers, of Evanston, was arrested for violating a protection order.
David A. Corning, of Mountain View, was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender.
Brandon Fielding, of Ogden, Utah, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
Alicia M. Graham, of Evanston, was arrested for a drug court sanction.
Jeffery P. Kay, Jr., of Dunkin, Oklahoma, was arrested for attempting to elude, for reckless driving, for possessing a weapon as a felon, for possessing a controlled substance and for driving while under the influence.
Clay J. Simm, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Kenneth J. Williams, of Lyman, was arrested for possessing stolen property.
