Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 83 incidents between the dates of Monday, Feb. 12, and Sunday, Feb. 18. Incidents included an assault, an airplane crash, four ambulance or medical assists, two animal problems, two controlled substance possessions and a family fight.

Deputies also responded to a fire, fraud, harassment, three keep the peace incidents, a protection order violation, two prisoner transports, three public service programs, a traffic accident with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, two property thefts, a vehicle theft, four wanted persons and two welfare checks. 

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested eight persons between the dates of Feb. 12 and Feb. 18.

Daniel R. Blanchard, of West Jordan, Utah, was arrested for felony probation revocation.

Kimberly L. Carver, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.

Jonathon M. Cowart, of Lyman, was arrested for wanton destruction of a game animal, interfering with a police officer and taking wildlife without a license.

Sabryna L. Franklin, of Lyman, was arrested for fraud, breach of peace and being a fugitive from justice. 

Allison V. French, of Sun Valley, California, was arrested for a drug violation and possessing a controlled substance.

Meranda E. Lovato, of Evanston, was arrested for forgery/counterfeiting and misdemeanor probation revocation. 

Joshua P. Smith, of Billings, Montana, was arrested for aggravated burglary, theft, conspiracy, possessing stolen property and forgery/counterfeiting. 

Antonio M. Tawney, of Mack, Colorado, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.
