Sheriff's Office incidents
Dec. 4-10, 2017
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 80 incidents between the dates of Monday, Dec. 4, and Sunday, Dec. 10. Incidents included breaking and entering, breach of peace, controlled substance possession, a dead body and discharging a firearm.
Deputies also responded to a jail offense, minor in possession of alcohol, interfering with police, a prisoner transport, a probation/parole violation, a sex offense, suspicion, threatening, a tobacco problem, two traffic offenses, unsecure premises, five wanted persons and a welfare check.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested eight persons between the dates of Dec. 4 and Dec. 10.
Christopher J. Bodily, of Evanston, was arrested for breach of peace.
Jason D. Fanning, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for an out of county warrant.
John C. Homan, Jr., of Lyman, was arrested for failing to appear.
Jackie L. Johnson, of Evanston, was arrested for felony probation violation.
Daniel D. Johnston, of Evanston, was arrested for misdemeanor probation violation, possessing a controlled substance and interfering with a police officer.
Christopher D. Kauffman, of Evanston, was arrested for a drug court sanction.
William H. Tarness, of Crowheart, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance, careless driving, an out of county warrant and reckless driving.
Kara J. Vickrey, of Dinosaur, Colorado, was arrested on a bond revocation.
