Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
Dec. 25, 2017 – Jan. 1, 2018
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 107 incidents between the dates of Monday, Dec. 25, and Monday, Jan. 1. Incidents included three ambulance or medical assists, three animal problems, an alcohol offense, six agency assists, two citizen complaints, three citizen disputes, seven citizen assists, two citizen investigative contacts, a civil problem, controlled substance possession, two drug tests, three DUIs, three instances of driving under suspension, an escort, a family fight and three fires.
Deputies also responded to a family problem, a courtesy hold, 10 information reports, three intra-departmental assists, a jail offense, keeping the peace, lost or found property, a residence or vehicle lockout, a prisoner transport, a probation/parole violation, a rancher contact, four suspicions, two traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic accidents with personal injury, two traffic offenses, property theft, five wanted persons and three welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested 12 persons between the dates of Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Two arrests were redacted emergency detentions.
Justin E. Cook, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Dillon Cooper, of Garden City, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
Christopher D. Dalke, of Randolph, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
Katherine M. Garcia, of Mountain View, was arrested on a warrant for credit card fraud.
Raine M. Holgate, of Rock Springs, was arrested on a courtesy hold for an outside agency.
Jeff L. Noorda, of Murray, Utah, was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear.
Collin L. Small, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
Jason T. Stroh, of Lyman, was arrested on a child support offense.
Randi M. Taylor, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
Devin R. Wood, of Evanston, was arrested on a court supervised sanction.
