Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 135 incidents between the dates of Monday, Aug. 28, and Monday, Sept. 4. Incidents included three alarms, nine ambulance or medical assists, six animal problems, nine agency assists, 14 citizen assists, a citizen investigative contact, three DUIs, two family fights, two fires, fraud, harassment, five intoxicated persons, a jail offense, three calls to keep the peace and four lost or found property incidents.

Deputies also responded to three livestock problems, two parking problems, property destruction, probation/parole violation, four traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic accidents with personal injury, a traffic complaint, a traffic hazard, threatening, a traffic offense, three property thefts, six wanted persons and five welfare checks.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested 12 persons between the dates of Aug. 28 and Sept. 4.

Tomacita V. Becenti, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for filing a false report with a police officer and non-sufficient funds check fraud.

Andrew J. Echols, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Sonny S. Fraughton, of Evanston, was arrested for purchasing alcohol for someone under the age of 21.

Tonya M. Garner, of Murray, Utah, was arrested for driving while under suspension, possessing stolen property and possessing a controlled substance.

Daniel L. Gilbert, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence and felony probation revocation.

David R. Ocon, of Evanston, was arrested for battery.

Stetson L. Pierce, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for probation revocation.

Robert L. Piercy, of Mountain View, was arrested for felony probation revocation.

Devin R. Symons, of Kemmerer, was arrested on a warrant for probation revocation.

John W. Titmus, Sr., of Lyman, was arrested for misdemeanor probation revocation.

Mario Valencia, of Ogden, Utah, was arrested for being a pedestrian under the influence.

Ricky Walker, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for being a pedestrian under the influence.
