Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 106 incidents between the dates of Monday, April 23, and Sunday, April 29. Incidents included five ambulance or medical assists, four animal problems, breaking and entering, two controlled substance possessions, driving under the influence, two driving under suspensions, two family fights, harassment, two jail offenses, a juvenile runaway, two keeping the peace incidents, non-vandalism property damage, four public service programs, two traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, property theft, unsecure premises, two wanted persons, a warrant arrest and four welfare checks. 

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested 9 persons between the dates of April 23 and April 29.

Jessica L. Cook, of Mountain View, was arrested on a warrant for probation revocation. 

David E. Gee, of Mountain View, was arrested as a fugitive from justice.

William L. Gross, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension and possessing a controlled substance.

Timothy J. Lee, of Arcata, California, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.

Amy L. Mickelsen, of Taylorsville, Utah, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.

Jeffrey W. Morris, of Coalville, Utah, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Luis A. Sierra, of Tampa, Florida, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.

Joshua P. Smith, of Billings, Montana, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.

Tausha Welling, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic assault.
