Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 307 incidents between the dates of Tuesday, May 28, and Sunday, June 16. Incidents included four alarms, eight ambulance or medical assists, 13 animal problems, two simple assaults, 22 agency assists, a citizen complaint, three citizen disputes, seven citizen assists, five controlled substance possessions, paraphernalia possession, a dead body, seven DUIs, six DWUS incidents, four fires, a family fight, a family problem and fraud.

Other incidents included a gunshot wound, harassment, three intoxicated persons, a juvenile problem, keeping the peace, lost or found property, 13 livestock problems, littering, a missing person, four noise problems, obstructing justice, non-vandalism property damage, two protection order violations, three probation/parole violations, a prowler, two rancher contacts, stalking, six suspicious incidents, a sex offender registration, four traffic accidents with property damage, four traffic accidents with personal injury, property theft, threatening, trespassing, unsecure premises, vandalism, 12 wanted persons, a warrant arrest, two water disputes and seven welfare checks. 

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24 persons between the dates of May 28 and June 16.

Joseph M. Andrews-Richardson, of North Glenn, Colorado, was arrested for a felony probation violation. 

Nicolas R. Araya-Acuna, of Isza, California, was arrested on a federal indictment for transportation of stolen goods. 

Kristopher D. Bennett, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and on an out-of-county warrant. 

Colton D. Benton, of Mountain View, was arrested for delivery of marijuana. 

Zachary A. Carlisle, of Diamondville, was arrested for driving while under the influence. 

Patricia L. Cox, of Evanston, was arrested for a misdemeanor probation violation. 

Agustin Fuentes, of Salt Lake City, was arrested for driving while under suspension. 

Sergio Gomez-Arteaga, of Evanston, was arrested on a federal warrant. 

William L. Gross, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension. 

Lucas J. Holloway, of Lyman, was arrested for misdemeanor probation revocation and battery. 

Austin K. Jarrell, of Evanston, was arrested for felony probation violation. 

Keesha N. Kelley, of Clearfield, Utah, was arrested for attempt/conspiracy. 

Christy S. Lamb, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for driving while under the influence. 

Melinda F. Larsen, of Mountain View, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without insurance. 

Mark C. Lester, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence. 

Giovannia A. Lopez Valencia, of Respeda, California, was arrested on a federal warrant for transportation of stolen goods. 

Gregory Miranda, of Evanston, was arrested for interfering with a peace officer and failing to carry proof of insurance. 

Jared M. Mortensen, of Riverton, was arrested for failing to appear. 

Thomas D. Pateman, of Lyman, was arrested for driving while under the influence. 

Sheldon A. Pfeifer, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for driving while under the influence. 

Jessie L. Schuttemeier, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for driving while under the influence. 

Curtis J. Sorensen, of Salt Lake City, was arrested for violating a protection order. 

Garth O. Stringer, of Mountain View, was arrested for misdemeanor probation revocation. 

Kade C. Thomas, of Evanston, was arrested for attempt/conspiracy.
