Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
March 11-17, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 77 incidents between the dates of Monday, March 11, and Sunday, March 17. Incidents included an alarm, three ambulance or medical assists, five animal problems, eight agency assists, six citizen assists, controlled substance possession, a DUI, a fire, an intoxicated person, a protection order violation, two suspicious incidents, a sex offense, a sex offender registration, four traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, a traffic hazard, vehicle theft, vandalism, four wanted persons and five welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested three persons between the dates of March 11 and March 17.
Jay R. Abernathy, of Lyman, was arrested for driving while under the influence and interfering with a peace officer.
Mark J. Mast, of Lehi, Utah, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.
Rodney Rollins of McKinnon, was arrested for a child support issue.
