Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents

Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 83 incidents between the dates of Monday, Jan. 6, and Sunday, Jan. 12. Incidents included an alarm, five ambulance or medical assists, two animal problems, 10 agency assists, two citizen disputes, five citizen assists, a citizen investigative contact, marijuana possession, two controlled substance possessions and four DUIs.

Deputies also responded to two DWUS incidents, a fire, harassment, 11 information reports, a background investigation, a jail offense, lost or found property, a missing person, four prisoner transports, possession of stolen property, two suspicious incidents, a traffic accident with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, a traffic offense, vehicle theft, unsecure premises and a wanted person.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested six persons between the dates of Jan. 6 and Jan. 12.

Kamryn J. Bentley, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension and driving while under the influence.

Kristie R. Cole, of Evanston, was arrested for delivery of marijuana.

Richard T. Eppler, of Venture, California, was arrested for driving while under the influence and possessing a controlled substance.

Joseph A. Hale, of Rock Springs, was arrested for driving while under the influence and felony theft.

Garrett J. Hess, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Aaron Lyckberg, of Spring, Texas, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
