Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
Jan. 13-19, 2020
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 75 incidents between the dates of Monday, Jan. 13, and Sunday, Jan. 19. Incidents included two ambulance or medical assists, 15 agency assists, an attempted suicide, five citizen assists, two domestic violence incidents, two DUIs, two DWUS incidents, a fire, fraud, an internal investigation, three background investigations, two jail offenses, three prisoner transports, a probation/parole violation, three traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, a traffic offense, two wanted persons and two welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested seven persons between the dates of Jan. 13 and Jan. 19.
Cheryl A. Abriani, of Evanston, was arrested on a courtesy hold for an outside agency.
Anthony M. Catinella, of Tallahassee, Florida, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Braden S. Ellis, of Woodruff, Utah, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
Joshua R. Gorringe, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery.
Ramon Quintero-Alvarez, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery.
Deborah I. Schuttemeier, of Mountain View, was arrested for misdemeanor probation violation.
John L. Wicks, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence and interfering with a peace officer.
