Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 125 incidents between the dates of Monday, Feb. 11, and Monday, Feb. 18. Incidents included two alarms, four ambulance or medical assists, 11 animal problems, 17 agency assists seven citizen assists, marijuana possession, domestic violence, a DUI, a family fight, four fires, fraud and a juvenile problem.

Deputies also responded to two livestock problems, a parking problem, a rancher contact, a suspicious incident, three hit-and-run traffic accidents, nine traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic accidents with personal injury, a traffic complaint, two traffic hazards, two traffic offenses, three property thefts, trespassing, unsecure premises, three wanted persons and nine welfare checks. 

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested four persons between the dates of Feb. 11 and Feb. 18.

Lorean M. Custer, of Lyman, was arrested for driving with a cancelled, suspended or revoked license. 

Jonathan R. Husbands, of West Valley City, Utah, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance. 

Wilhelm R. Katzl Jr., of Evanston, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant. 

Derek A. Tonge, of Evanston, was arrested for second- or third-offense driving while under the influence.
