Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
Aug. 30-Sept. 5, 2021
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 123 incidents between the dates of Monday, Aug. 30, and Sunday, Sept. 5. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, two assaults, an alarm, six ambulance or medical assists, six animal problems, 12 agency assists, non-residential burglary, two citizen disputes, a citizen assist, a citizen investigative contact, a civil process service, a DUI, three escorts, a family fight, harassment, 24 information reports, four background investigations, three jail offenses, keeping the peace, four livestock problems, a residence or vehicle lockout, two noise problems, two parking problems, three non-vandalism property damage incidents, a prisoner transport, a prowler, two public service programs, recovered stolen property, two suspicious incidents, a hit and run, three traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic hazard, a traffic offense, trespassing, unsecure premises, vandalism and three welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested three persons between the dates of Aug. 30 and Sept. 5.
Austin K. Jarrell, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.
Joshua W. Keller, of Lyman, was arrested for second or third offense driving while under the influence, driving while under suspension and misdemeanor probation violation.
Richard G. Kuntz Jr., of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant.
