Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 92 incidents between the dates of Monday, Aug. 23, and Sunday, Aug. 29. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, attempting to evade, an alarm, two ambulance or medical assists, eight animal problems, five agency assists, a citizen dispute, a citizen assist, a civil process service, two DUIs, eluding on foot, two escorts, a fire, eight information reports, a juvenile problem, keeping the peace, six livestock problems, a noise problem, a parking problem, three prisoner transports, a rancher contact, four suspicious incidents, a hit and run, four traffic accidents with property damage, two property thefts, trespassing, theft of services, vandalism, two wanted persons and a welfare check.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested six persons between the dates of Aug. 23 and Aug. 29.
Brooke-Linn D. Cottrell, of Rock Springs, was arrested on a probation and parole hold.
Eric A. Crandall, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence, driving while under suspension, having an open container in a vehicle and interfering with a police officer.
Samantha R. Howard, of Evanston, was arrested for attempting to elude and driving while under suspension.
Lorenzo K. Huffaker, of Evanston, was arrested for violating a stalking order of protection.
Racquelle R. McComb, of Evanston, was arrested for violating a stalking order of protection.
Christopher A. Serna, of Cheyenne, was arrested for felony probation revocation.
