Tyree Lewis Summers, 24, returned to his Father in heaven on Jan. 24, in Evanston. H ewas born June 27, 1994. He was the son of Bart and Amy Jo Summers of Bothwell, Utah. He graduated from Bear River High School and LDS Seminary in 2012.
He was very involved in FFA. He also attended Bridgerland Applied Technology College, where he worked on welding and mechanics. Currently, he was living and working in Evanston. He worked for a logging company and loved driving the big machines and being in the mountains.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an Eagle Scout, thanks to many dedicated Scout leaders. He served an LDS mission in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He touched so many lives there and made lasting friendships.
He loved to hunt, work on the farm and camp. He loved to tease everyone, and he had a contagious laugh and smile.
He is survived by his parents, Bart and Amy Jo; his siblings, Karlee Jo, Rilee and Kaycee; and so many uncles, aunts and cousins who loved him. He was recently engaged to his sweetheart, Taelor Christiansen of Evanston. He is also survived by grandparents, W. Blair and Linda Summers of Bothwell, Utah, and Ted and Judy Chlarson of Honeyville, Utah; and a great-grandmother, Carol Cook of Willard.
He is preceded in death by his aunt, Ashley Chlarson; his great-grandparents, Farrell and LaNae Summers, Varsel and Ruth Chlarson, Lee and Arlene Hunsaker and Grant Cook. Tyree was lucky enough to know them all, so we know there was a sweet reunion in heaven.
A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at the Tremonton (Utah) West Stake Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, also at the Tremonton West Stake Center, with a viewing held at 9:30 a.m., prior to the funeral.
