The Evanston Red Devils football team is hosting Powell Friday night at Kay Fackrell Stadium for the final game of the season, with a special presentation planned for halftime.
Uinta County District No. 1 will honor all first responders and military veterans with a “Tribute to Heroes.”
Those participating will be brought out at halftime, with one person from each of the 10 organizations (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, Coast Guard, City Police, Sheriff Department, Fire, Ambulance and Highway Patrol) chosen to represent their branch of service.
For those unable to attend, there will be a couple of options to view it on mylocalradio.com (streaming) and 99.1 radio. Questions can be directed to Bubba O’Neill or Dauna Bruce at the Activities Office at 307-789-7571, ext. 1061.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. Come out and support your Red Devils, and pay tribute to our heroes.
