Trees and shrubs can be a valuable addition to most property. Properly planted, well maintained trees add beauty, wind protection, shade, wildlife habitat, visual screening and other benefits to the landscape. The Uinta County Conservation District is now taking orders for seedling trees and shrubs to be delivered in the spring of 2018.
Seedlings can be a great, cost effective way to establish conservation plantings such as windbreaks, living snow fences, noise or visual barriers and to create wildlife habitat. Although it is still fall, officials encourage those interested to order early as some species have already sold out.
