Sharon Andersen, age 78, passed away at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, on Sunday, Feb. 28.
She was born on Aug. 23, 1942, in Kemmerer, to Kenneth Arnell and Coloe Mae Floyd Arnell.
On Dec. 7, 1962, she married Allan Andersen in St. Charles, Idaho. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2008.
They lived in Cokeville, and raised their children: Danny (Kate) Andersen, Darren (Analia) Andersen, Karla Andersen, Roxanne Andersen and, last but not least, Troy (Aubrey) Andersen. She is also survived by her brother, Gerald Arnell; sisters, Nedra Wilcox, Lorna Skinner and Paulette Nelson; along with three grandchildren.
She loved her family, cooking, watching grandkids, horses and animals. She adored her dog, Gracie. She enjoyed old country music and was always tapping her toe. Sharon loved old-time movies and golf.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Allan; and her parents, Kenneth and Coloe Mae, Royden Arnell, Leila Shephard.
A viewing will be held on from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, at Crandall Funeral Home, in Evanston. A graveside service for family and friends will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, in the Fish Haven Cemetery, Fish Haven, Idaho.
