Rose Alyce Hutchinson

Rose Alyce Hutchinson was born in Evanston on May 3, 1938, and passed away on Thursday, Feb. 17, at Evanston Regional Hospital. She was the ninth of 13 children born to Carl Everett Henriksen and Gertrude Morse Nicholson Henriksen.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 12 brothers and sisters. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Kenneth Kay Warner, spouse of Pamela Warner; and son-in-law, TJ Smith, spouse of Tara Smith.

She married Thomas Edgar Passey on July 6, 1957, and they later divorced.

To this union were born five children: Dale R Passey of Evanston; Pamela Jean Warner of Evanston; Christy Lynn Passey, who preceded her in death; Gary and Susan (Angel) Passey of Brigham City, Utah; and Tara Smith of Toronto, Kansas;

She later married Alan Hutchinson, and they later divorced.

To this union was born one son, Michael Gene Hutchinson, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by four children, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was a beautiful and loving person who would give anything she had to those in need, even if it was her last.

She loved to fish, crochet and write poetry, and she could play the organ beautifully. She will be remembered by all who loved her in the many memories we shared throughout her life on earth and will be greatly missed!

Cremation has been requested and a memorial will be held later in Evanston.
