SOUTH JORDAN, Utah —A new district ranger has been announced for the Evanston-Mountain View Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Justin Robinson, formerly the fisheries biologist for the Heber-Kamas Ranger District, will begin his new assignment in mid-April.
Prior to beginning his Forest Service career, he worked for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. Justin received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. During his natural resource career, he has focused on landscape restoration efforts centered on fire resilience, fire restoration, road systems and micro habitats.
Excited to begin this new experience, Justin said, “My family and I look forward to moving into the southwestern Wyoming community and working with great Forest Service employees, local governments, partners, and the public. My focus will be on forest resilience through aquatic restoration, fuels, and timber projects, partnerships, and continuing to provide outstanding recreation opportunities.”
