BEAR LAKE, Idaho — The Rich High School boys’ basketball team fell to 1-2 on the year after suffering a 39-30 loss to Bear Lake (Idaho) on Thursday night.
Senior guard Aaron Smith led the Rebels with 11 points after knocking down three 3-pointers. Jordan Cook had six points, both comings on 3s, while two-time All-State player Nick Jarman was held to four points.
Rich (1-2) jumped out to a 9-4 lead after the first quarter, but the Rebels were outscored 14-6 in the second. Bear Lake was held to four points in the third quarter, but Rich was limited to two points.
In the final quarter, Bear Lake outscored Rich, 15-12 to secure the victory.
The Rebels are back in action at 2:30 p.m. today at home against Orderville.
