GIRLS BASKETBALL

Mountain View 58, Kemmerer 36
KEMMERER — The Mountain View High School girls’ basketball team claimed a 58-36 win on Saturday against Kemmerer.
Lyndee Hereford scored 13 points, while Haily Stephens added 10 to lead the Lady Buffalos.
Mountain View is now 6-3 on the year and will host Pinedale on Friday.

Lyman 50, Big Piney 37
BIG PINEY — The Lyman High School girls’ basketball team improved to 10-0 with a 50-37 win on Friday against Big Piney.
McKinley Bradshaw 26 points to lead the Lady Eagles, ranked second in Class 3A.
Lyman will be back in action on Friday when the Lady Eagle host Star Valley.

Rich 49, Intermountain Christian 31
SALT LAKE CITY — McKina Stacey poured in a game-high 13 points to lead the Rich High School girls’ basketball team to a 49-31 win on Friday against Intermountain Christian.
The Lady Rebels outscored the Lady Lions 27-8 to pull away for the victory.

Duchesne 40, Rich 29
RANDOLPH — The Rich High School girls’ basketball team suffered a 40-29 loss to Duchesne on Saturday.
Kierra Groll led the Lady Rebels with 13 points.
Rich (5-6) will host West Side on Thursday, Jan. 26.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Mountain View 69, Kemmerer 31
KEMMERER — The Mountain View High School boys’ basketball team claimed a 69-31 win against Kemmerer on Saturday.
Kimball Madsen had 15 points, Colby Rees added 13, Braeden Walk had 12 and Briggin Bluemel finished with 10. The Buffalos are now 4-5 on the year and will host Pinedale on Friday.

Rich 77, Intermountain Christian 50
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — The Rich High School boys’ basketball team rolled to a 77-50 win against Intermountain Christian on Friday night.
Kamran Caldar scored a game-high 15 points to lead three players for the Rebels in double figures. Nick Jarman finished with 14 points and Aaron Smith added 11.

Rich 58, Duchesne 49
RANDOLPH, Utah — Kinnen Clark scored a game-high 17 points on Saturday to lead Rich to a 58-49 win against Duchesne.
Nick Jarman added 13 points and Kamran Calder finished with 10 to lead the Rebels.
Rich (8-4) will host Manila on Friday.

WRESTLING

Evanston takes 16th
VERNAL, Utah — The Evanston High School wrestling team finished 16th with 82 points at the Tournament Of Champions held Jan. 12-13. Here are the results from the finals:
126: 5th Place Match
Cauy Smith (Rifle) 23-8, So. over Carson Carlson (Kemmerer) 15-8, Jr. (Dec 8-4)
195: 3rd Place Match
Payton Tucker (Green River) 23-1, So. over Gavin Simmons (Evanston) 19-7, Sr. (Fall 4:41)

Mountain View finishes ninth
WIND RIVER — The Mountain View High School wrestling team finished ninth with 102.5 points.
