Niko Ringer, 2, of Evanston, passed away Tuesday, Aug 10. Niko was born Dec. 3, 2018, in Jackson, to parents Aube Ringer of Evanston and Tosha Scott of Santa Cruz, California.
Niko was an intelligent, inquisitive and big-hearted boy. He was full of life and love. Niko enjoyed everything from reading books with his mom and dad and playing with his dinosaurs to swimming. He also enjoyed playing with his dogs “Roxy!” and Ruka, as well as his pet tortoise, Abuelita.
Niko enjoyed swinging from the pear tree in the backyard and playing with cousin Tatum and Mommy and Daddy. He loved cuddles, blankets and movies — “Moana” “Luca,” “Coco,” and “Ice Age” were his favorites. Niko was loved by all who met him.
Niko is survived by his loving parents, Aube Ringer and Tosha Scott; sister, Madison Thompson of Laramie; brothers, Wesley, Frankie and George Scott of Cody; grandparents, Michael (Emily) Ringer of Evanston, Sarah (Robert) Ringer of Cody and Laurie Nielsen of Las Vegas; uncle, Harley (Kelci) Ringer of Salt Lake City; Laurie, Cody, and Brad Bateman; Jessica Green; and Matt, Tiff, Jaden and Tatum Windley; and countless other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, at St. Mary Magdalen Church, in Evanston, with a celebration of life immediately following at Hamblin Park in Evanston. Donations to the Benefit for Niko Fund can be made at Trona Valley Credit Union.
