RANDOLPH, Utah — Supporting senior citizens has always been important to residents of southwest Wyoming and Rich County, Utah. NGL Connection, a wireless internet service provider, developed its “Season of Giving” promotion to raise funds for area seniors.
The company set aside $2 from every customer who paid their bill on time. When their customers learned of the program they rushed to pay their bills and more than $3,300 was raised for six senior citizen centers to help pay for their programs.
The senior meal program in Rich County delivers meals to up to 50 people. Officials said they receive a lot of support from Rich County Commissioner Bill Cox.
“We enjoy supporting the communities who support us,” said NGL Connection co-owner, David Jones. “I want to thank all of our customers who have shown their support for seniors through our ‘Season of Giving’ program.”
