EVANSTON — A new Pain Care Center office opened in Evanston on April 10.
Pain Care Center is a medical facility providing pain management treatment options that are close to home. According to Jed Shay, M.D., the medical director of the center, local patients have access to a wide array of treatments that are often only available in larger cities,. This way they don’t have to travel too far.
Dr. Shay has been in practice since 1995, and the Pain Care Center has been in Wyoming since 2011, operating in Rock Springs, Lander — and now Evanston.
There are four providers in the group, says Shay. However, APRN Jill Bass will exclusively practice in Evanston. Dr. Shay performs interventional pain management and treatment for opioid dependency.
The Pain Care Center is located at 170 Arrowhead Dr. and it is currently accepting new patients. Those interested may call (307) 212-6270.
