You are looking beautiful today Evanston. Thank you to everyone for welcoming me as the new Managing Editor for your Uinta County Herald. As the Managing Editor, one of my responsibilities is making sure all the local news in our town and surrounding area is being covered. I am very fortunate to have three incredible reporters, Kayne Pyatt, Don Cogger and Hayden Godfrey. Their dedication and hard work shines in our newspaper. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to get our newspaper to print on time every week. I am grateful for our whole team in the office. I couldn’t do it without them. You may not know it, but the Uinta County Herald is an award-winning newspaper with award winning reporters.

It is important to me that our subscribers and readers are satisfied with the newspaper. This is your newspaper. We create it each week for you. With that said we will be conducting a reader’s survey for the next couple of weeks. Please take the time to fill out the survey. You can access it by the QR code on the front of the paper, on our website or in person at our office. This will allow us to continue to provide you with an amazing newspaper and look for areas of improvement.

The Uinta County Herald is so important to the community. The newspaper has been the backbone of the community for more than 100 years. The newspaper is our record of history in Evanston. We want to make sure we don’t miss any history that happens in our community. Our local businesses also play a crucial part in our community. Local businesses provide the newspaper revenue by advertising with us each week. The public announcements section is also important community information that shouldn’t be overlooked.

I look forward to meeting everyone in the community. I am always open to stories or ideas we can publish in the newspaper. I encourage you all to reach out to me with your personal stories, issues within the community and feedback for the newspaper. Letters to the editor can always be emailed to me directly. brobben@uintacountyherlad.com
