Nancy Cheryl Albrecht

Nancy Cheryl Albrecht, 78, passed away at her home in Wild River Ranches on Jan. 1.

She was born in Ogden, Utah, on Oct. 17, 1940, to Audrey and Bruce Parry.

She attended Utah State University, where she graduated with a teaching degree. She later became acquainted with Charles W. Albrecht and they were married in Ogden on June 11, 1965. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

She worked at the Wyoming State Hospital as a social worker for a short period before starting and running a successful surveying business with her husband.

Cheryl and Charles were very adventurous and traveled all around the western U.S. looking for gold and other minerals. She loved meeting new people and getting to know them. She made many friends along the way.

She attended many dog shows and even entered some agility contests with her dog and won some awards.

Cheryl was a very talented artist and has many paintings and drawings that are just amazing to see.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles W. Albrecht; her dog, Bobby; and a brother, Doug (Janie) Parry of Yuma, Arizona, along with many nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Bruce and her mother, Audrey.

A celebration of life will be held later this summer at her home.
