JACKSON – The Mountain View High School football team continues to roll after claiming a 40-6 win against Jackson in a non-conference matchup on Friday night.
The Buffalos (3-1, 2-0 2A West) have now won three-straight since falling 18-0 to Cokeville in the season opener.
During that span, Mountain View, the No. 2 team in Class 2A, has outscored its opponents 93-27.
On Friday, Jackson (0-4, 0-2 3A West) scored its lone touchdown on the final play of the game.
Going into Friday’s matchup, Mountain View was averaging 285 yards on offense, while allowing 210.
Through three games Briggin Bluemel had ran for 182 yards on 44 carries. Braeden Walk was 17 of 31 through the air for 280 yards, while Kimbel Madsen had thrown for 202 yards on 21 of 34 attempts. Jason Stoddard was leading the Buffalos in receptions (18) for 280 yards. Caden Stoll had 10 catches for 108 yards in Mountain View’s first three games.
The Buffalos will play at Pinedale (2-2, 2-1 2A West).
