MOUNTAIN VIEW -- The Mountain View boys cross country team earned a third-place finish at the 3A West Regional meet on Friday at Mountain View.

Travis Harmon placed fourth in 17:01 while Trenton wells was seventh at 17:46 to lead the Buffalos, who finished with 87 points.

Star Valley placed six runners in the top 10 to win the boys race with 22 points. Cody was second with 71.

The Lyman boys finished seventh with 191 points. The Eagles were led by Jesse Fanos, who finished 31st in 18:47.

Lyman senior Kaleigh Douglas led the Lyman girls to a fifth-place finish with 131 points. Douglas finished sixth individually in 21:13 to earn all-conference honors.

The Mountain View girls placed sixth with 132 points. The Lady Buffalos were led by Emilee Benedict, who finished 19th in 22:36.

Star Valley placed five runners in the top 10 to win the girls race with 29 points. Cody was second with 55 points, while Riverton (114) and Lander (123) rounded out the top-four teams.
