Maria (Cuca) Ballesteros passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 66, at Ogden Regional Hospital.
She was born on January 19, 1956, in Iramuco, Guanajuato, Mexico. She lived in Wyoming for over 40 years.
She married the love of her life, Jaime, on February 14, 1981. Together they had three daughters: Primavera, Jeymye, and Emily.
She was a devout member of the Catholic Church. She worked for the Uinta County Courthouse for 13 years. She enjoyed shopping, playing Bingo, and going to casinos. She had many friends and valued her friendships.
She was always willing to help others and was a very giving person. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family very much. Her grandchildren were everything to her.
She is survived by her daughters, Primavera (Juan) Villegas, Jeymye (Sergio) Panigua and Emily; and two grandchildren, Remmi and Romina. She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
A vigil will be held on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023 at 6.00 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church 813 Center Street. A Rosary will be held on Friday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Evanston Cemetery.
