Making healthcare a community affair

Posted

Thanks to our nurses, physicians, and other hospital professionals — including volunteers, therapists and many others — Evanston Regional Hospital is able to provide high-quality care and make an impact on improving the health and wellness of our community. This week, May 6-13, is National Nurses Week and National Hospital Week. In recognition of this week, I want to share my gratitude for our staff’s unwavering dedication to serving our community.

Healthcare works best when it is local, working specifically to solve issues important and relevant to the community. Evanston Regional Hospital is proud to by our community hospital. We are open 24/7, 52 weeks a year.

You can count on low wait times at our emergency room. You can count on our physicians and nurses to help you and your family on the road to recovery. Accidents happen. Illnesses happen. Births happen. And you can count on Evanston Regional Hospital every step of the way.

As one of the largest employers in the county, we also take pride in helping Uinta County continue to grow and prosper. Last year, we contributed $96,700 in tax revenue to our local community which, in part, supported local municipal services that keep our city functioning safely and effectively.

We also fueled the local economy with more than $13 million distributed in wages and benefits to our employees. Last year, we invested $900,000 into our facility, an investment that will help improve our hospital and provide our patients with access to the best resources for years to come.

Our hospital and clinic team members are all committed to offering quality care to our patients. We value our employees’ time, expertise and generosity more than words can describe. Our hospital teams are the reason we are able to deliver exceptional localized care to patients when they need it. They are active members of the community both in and outside of our facility, giving of their time to local charities, churches, youth organizations and more.

During National Nurses and National Hospital Week — and every week — we thank our employees for helping make healthcare in Evanston a community affair.
