GILLETE – The Lyman High School girls’ swim team finished eighth on Friday at the Class 3A state meet at the Aquatic Center in Gillette.
The Lady Eagles finished with 82 points. Lander Valley won the meet with 322 points. Worland (176) and Powell (159) rounded out the top three teams.
Lyman’s 200-yard medley relay team of Brooklyn Busskohl, Brynlee Busskohl, Harper Hewitt and Emma Beck set a school record while earning a fourth-place finish in 2:03.16.
Weston also set a state record in the 100-yard butterfly while finishing sixth in the event in 1:16.78.
Brooklyn Busskohl helped pace the Lady Eagles with a sixth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:07.12.
