Lisa Widiker-White, 47, passed away Feb. 19, after a battle with cancer and kidney failure.

Lisa was born Nov. 24, 1970, in West Bend, Wisconsin, to Patricia “Pat” (Updike) Fenus and David Widiker. Lisa is also survived by her stepmother, Meredith Widiker. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert Fenus.

Lisa came from a large family and she loved all of them.

Lisa is survived by her children, Courtney Gibson of Casper, Gage Mercer of Rock Springs, and Trenda (Carson) Stucki of Black Foot Falls, Idaho; her five grandchildren, Camdyn, Teagan, Karsen, Stedson and Skylee.

She is also survived by sisters, Debra (Steve) Genger of Woodland Park, Clorado, Sandra Nihart of Casper, Jackie (Shawn) Harding of Fruita, Colorado, and Katie (Grant) Elliott of Fort Collins, Colorado; her brothers, Thomas (Vicki) Widiker of Glenrock, and Dustin (Vergie) Smart of Alcova; and many nieces and nephews.

When Lisa was a toddler, she “rode” her green inchworm toy down a flight of stairs in the family home. She wanted to do it over and over. At that time she was given the nickname “Tuffy.” Lisa fought tough with her illness, and Heaven has received “Tuffy” now.

Lisa was a true Denver Bronco, John Elway and Peyton Manning fan, as well as a strong American patriot. She loved country music, especially Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan. Recently, she enjoyed watching Shaun White win his third Olympic gold medal.

Cremation is being handled by Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston. The family will hold a private life celebration at a later date.
