Editor:
I wrote the same contents of this letter when I lived on Southridge Road. Now, years later on Toponce, I’m experiencing the same ignorance of dog owners who feel privileged in taking their unleashed dogs on a twice-daily walk to “do their business” in my yard and the neighbors’ yards.
They carry a doggy bag to give the impression that they are picking up after their pets — as the owners walk far ahead and have no intention of taking any responsibility for their dogs’ morning and evening “business.”
Obviously, these people have no integrity or manners concerning their pets. I don’t know how these daily exercisers were raised, but it must have been in a barn. Apparently, no one taught them how to shovel!
I write this letter on behalf of myself and other homeowners who have to shovel after others lack common sense and courtesy.
