The Evanston High School girls’ basketball team moved up to No. 2 in the latest coaches and media poll released early Thursday.
The Lady Red Devils (7-2) were previously ranked fifth in Class 4A. Evanston’s only losses this season have come to No. 3 Thunder Basin and top-ranked Cheyenne East.
Lyman (8-0) maintained its No. 2 spot in the Class 3A rankings this week after holding off Mountain View for a 37-34 win at home on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Lady Buffalos (5-3) moved from No. 5 to No. 4 this week in Class 3A. Mountain View has suffered losses to Green River, Evanston and Lyman.
