Krissa D. Warren, 53 years, passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, after a long struggle with cancer. She was born June 21, 1964, in Evanston, to Linzie Clayton and Janice Marilyn Kindler Adkins.
Krissa was a very strong and amazing mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting and watching the food channel in her spare time. She was a big foodie. She went on a cruise with her sister and just talked and talked about the amazing food they had and the captain’s table. She also enjoyed traveling with her good friend to antique stores and auction houses.
Krissa is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by three daughters: Courtney (Jamie) Steier of Evanston, Heather (Jeremy) Crites of Watford City, North Dakota, and Crystal (Nick) Leavitt of Draper, Utah; two sisters: Debbie Adkins of Evanston and Darla Cossitt of Powell; two brothers: Craig Adkins and Curtis Adkins, both of Evanston; and five grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the Beeman-Cashin building on Front Street in Evanston.
