Friday, Feb. 15, was a sad day for the family and close friends of Kersten Close. After fighting a losing battle with the flu and pneumonia, she was allowed to step back across the veil to join her sister, father and grandmother.
She leaves behind her mother, stepfather, two stepsisters, three stepbrothers, nieces, nephews and three amazing boys.
Her request was for cremation, with a celebration of her life, which will be scheduled at a later date.
