Kelsey Janelle Couture, 31, passed away at the University of Utah Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Dear Kelsey is finally free from pain and suffering.

Kelsey was born in Kemmerer on Oct. 1, 1989, to Laval (Bud) and Barb (Gunter) Couture. She married Andrew Blakeman in June 2009, in Evanston, and they later divorced.

She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

She is survived by her mother, Barb (Gunter) Couture; brother, Nate Hamilton; daughter, Isabella Blakeman; son, Easton Rogers; niece, Hannah Hamilton; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Kelsey was preceded in death by her father, Laval (Bud) Couture Jr.; grandmother, Carolyn Gunter; grandfather, Ronald Gunter; grandmother, Adele Dunnick; grandfather, Laval (Bud) Couture Sr.; and step-grandfather, William Dunnick.

The family would like to deeply thank all of those who have always been there in her time of need. Her beautiful smile and spirit will be deeply missed.

There will be a celebration of life for Kelsey at 11:11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Evanston Roundhouse, 1500 Main St. The State of Wyoming COVID-19 precautions and restrictions will be followed — face masks will be required.

At Kelsey’s request, she would like everyone to wear colors.
