Joyce Suzanne (Sue) Casey Woods passed away on Oct. 10, at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City. She was born July 12, 1960, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Edward D. Casey and Joyce Pyatt Casey.
Sue married Gary Wayne Woods and they later divorced. They had three children: Alyson, Samantha and Andrew.
She is survived by her mother, Joyce Casey; her children, Alyson (Chuck) Muller, Samantha Woods and Andrew (Hailey) Woods; six grandchildren; two brothers, Edward and Wesley; and three sisters, Ariel, Peggy and Ardith, and all their families. She is also survived by her aunt Kayne Pyatt of Evanston and many cousins.
Sue moved to Evanston in 1994, and she loved living here. Her favorite time was spent having coffee with her mother at Serendipity and visiting with friends. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her, especially her grandbabies.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 10th and Sage in Evanston. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Sue’s name given to Uinta Home Health.
