John Wayne Titmus

John Wayne Titmus, 54, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, in Evanston. 

Due to his battle with cancer that he had struggled with for several months, he wanted his body to be donated to the Whole Body Program for Education for further research.

Mr. Titmus was born in Evanston to Wayne Mathew Titmus and Josephine Harriet Keyes on Jan. 18, 1965. He loved flying and was an airplane mechanic for many years. He would work on anything that needed repairing and he loved helping others.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Elaine Titmus and Harry and Elsie Keyes; father, Wayne Titmus; stepfather, Don E. Nichols; brother, Robert Nichols and several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

John is survived by an ex-wife, Candace Pearce Titmus; four children, Brian Pearce, Crystal Pearce Yarnell, Ashley Titmus and Johnny Titmus; mother, Josephine Harriet Nichols; six brothers, Rocky Titmus, Todd Titmus, David Nichols, Dewayne Nichols, Donald (Butch) Nichols and Steve Nichols; nine sisters, Trudy Torrez, Jolleen Lewis, Tonya Smith, Donna Peterson, Colleen Morr, Brenda Robinson, Jerrie Hendrickson, LeeAnn Castrodale and Pat Burrows and nine grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, in the Lyman LDS church in Lyman.
