MONROE, Utah — Janice Taylor, 96, formerly of Lyman, passed away Dec. 27, 2022, in Idaho Falls Idaho.

Janice was born Aug. 30, 1926, the oldest of three children. She and her husband, Tom Taylor, moved to Lyman in 1954 as a young couple and lived in Lyman until Tom’s retirement in 1985. Together Janice and Tom raised a family, served as educators in the Lyman school district and built two homes themselves.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; and son, Larry. She is survived by her two brothers, Paul Jones and Kim Jones; and by her children: Roy Taylor, Camille Klippert and Bill Taylor.

Her life was rich, with a love for art, music, designing and adventure. She served many and was loved by many. Her life was a portrait of faith, devotion and perseverance.

Janice’s funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Monroe 5th Ward Chapel, 140 S Main Street, Monroe, Utah, 84754. The viewing will be Friday Jan. 6, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The services will be held following the viewing at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in the Monroe Utah City Cemetery.

The funeral is under the directions of Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Utah.
