Posted

On Saturday, Sept. 18, a beautiful and very kind soul sadly and unexpectedly left this world behind for everlasting life with the Lord. Jamie Annette Kenney was the first child born to Edward J Kenney and Barbara Latimer Kenney. She was born July 2, 1963, at Hill Air Force Base, Ogden, Utah. She passed away at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City after a short illness.

Jamie attended school in Italy, California and Wyoming, graduating from Mountain View High School. She attended the University of Wyoming and had a variety of careers in her life, but she was happiest when she was in a position to help others. She had a great love for all animals and had to stop and pet any dog or cat that came her way. She always had one or two cats as her perfect roommates. She suffered with multiple health problems throughout her life and she remained sweet and kind with a positive attitude through it all. She will be forever missed by her friends and family.

She is survived by her parents, Ed and Barbara; brother, Mark Kenney; sister, Christine Kenney; niece, Kloie Kenney; nephews, Ryan (Kaylee) Allen, Alex Snyder, E. Thompson and Kam Kenney; three great nephews; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Ethel and John Kenney, Alma and Carl Dean, and Gene Latimer; and sister-in-law, Jill Kenney.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at St. Helen Catholic Church, Ft. Bridger, followed by burial in the Ft. Bridger Cemetery.
