LYMAN — Funeral services for Jacob Brumme, 18-year-old Buffalo resident, who passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, in Lyman was held Thursday Sept. 12, at 2 p.m. at the Bridger Valley Baptist Church in Lyman with Pastor Aaron Green officiating.

Visitation was held at the Bridger Valley Baptist Church on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment followed in the Fort Bridger Cemetery in Fort Bridger. Donations in Jacob’s memory may be made to a Go-Fund-Me page set up by the family to help with expenses.

Jacob Brumme was born on Aug. 14, 2001, in Evanston to Scott and Letishia Brumme. As an infant, he moved to Lyman with his mother where he attended elementary school through the fifth grade. When he was three, Jason Doan became his father figure and raised him as his own. In 2011 they moved to Torrington for a year and then back to Lyman where they lived for one year.

In 2013, they moved to Buffalo where he attended Clear Creek Middle School and Buffalo High School. In August 2019, he moved to Lyman where he was in his senior year of high school.

Jacob loved to snowboard, ride his scooter, skateboard and hunting and fishing. He was very good at Parkour and was an excellent woodworker.

He is survived by his mothe:r Letishia Doan of Buffalo; one brother Levi Brumme of Ranchester; two sisters: Isabelle and Jaydin Doan of Buffalo; maternal grandparents, Georgia and Larry Castle of Lyman; paternal grandmother Betty Doan of Lyman; two aunts: Angela Sing and her husband Fred of Green River and Adriana Stocks and her husband Andy of Lyman; numerous cousins, a host of friends and his beloved dog, Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Jason Doan.
