Herald’s Tuesday edition to move to Wednesdays

Posted

Beginning immediately, the Uinta County Herald and two of its sister papers in southwest Wyoming — the Bridger Valley Pioneer and Kemmerer Gazette, will see some changes. Most notably, the Herald will move its Tuesday edition to Wednesdays, and the Gazette will move from a Thursday paper to a Wednesday paper. The Bridger Valley Pioneer and the Herald’s Friday editions will still come out on Fridays, but the deadlines will change, along with those for the Gazette.

These changes are beyond our control, as there have been changes made with printing press. We look forward to our new schedule, and we will continue to bring our communities the best in news, sports and events.

Deadlines for the Herald’s new Wednesday edition will be: Legal advertising, 5 p.m. the prior Thursday; display advertising, noon on the prior Friday; news, noon on the prior Monday; and obituaries, 8 a.m. the prior Tuesday. Deadlines for the Herald’s and Pioneer’s Friday editions are: Legal ads, 5 p.m. the prior Monday; display advertising, 5 p.m. the prior Tuesday; news, noon the prior Wednesday; and obituaries, 8 a.m. the prior Thursday.

Deadlines for the Gazette’s new Wednesday edition are:  Legal advertising, 5 p.m. the prior Thursday; display advertising, noon the prior Friday; and news, noon the prior Monday. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Some might also notice a slight change in the size of the newspaper, as the press will use paper that is a fraction of an inch narrower than what it has been. If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 307-789-6560.
