Helen Grace Lee Morrison, age 87, passed away at Angels Home Care in Wildomar, California, on Feb. 17.

She was born in Evanston, to Ed and Grace Lee, on June 28, 1930.

She attended school in Evanston, and she married Robert (Bob) Lee Morrison on Dec. 8, 1949. 

She worked as a telephone switchboard operator for several years as well as worked periodically for her sister and brother-in-law at Cue’s Clothing. She also worked at the senior center for several years, as well as volunteered at the Evanston Regional Hospital for many years. She was very active in the Evanston Baptist Church until she moved away in 2014. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed reading, knitting, and playing bridge. She belonged to several different bridge clubs over the years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; son, John; and sisters, Ruth, Virginia, and Barbara (Bobbi).

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Scott Wallace of Wildomar, California; Lee Ann and Jim Woodward, of  McCleary, Washington; daughter-in-law Becky Morrison of Rock Springs; brothers and sister-in-law, Russell (Sonny) Lee of Gulfport, Mississippi; Ralph and Marion Lee of Evanston; and Stuart Lee of Roswell, New Mexico.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

Helen will be cremated, and a service will be held at a later date.
