BEAR RIVER STATE PARK — On Friday, Oct. 27, Evanston Parks and Recreation and the Bear River State Park invite children ages up to 10 years of age to a free fun-filled Halloween activity from 2-4 p.m.
The adventure will take place at the Bear River State Park Visitor Center. There will be a story time at 2:15, costume parade at 2:30, pumpkin hunt at 2:45, and ghoulish games and pumpkin painting from 3-4 p.m.
Pre-registration is required. One free pumpkin will be provided per family — donated by Wal-Mart — to those who pre-register, while supplies last. Please register at the recreation center. Parental supervision is required. For more information, call (307) 789-1770.
