Halbert Morehouse passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at his home in Lyman. He was 53. He was born December 23, 1968, in Bakersfield, California. He was the youngest of three boys.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl Eugene Morehouse, Mary Lucille Denver Morehouse and older brother Denver Shane Morehouse.
Halbert enjoyed rock hunting around Baggs, Wyo., and Robbers Gulch, also riding motorcycles, building engines with his dad, hunting camp on Battle Mountain with parents and friends, fishing, going to the Sturgis Rally in South Dakota, going to drag races with his family and hanging out with his friends. He worked in the oilfield on drilling rigs when he was younger. He never married but does have a daughter. He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Christine Morehouse, and his grandson, Elijah Morehouse, both of South Dakota; as well as his brother David Morehouse of Lyman. He had many friends and he will be missed.
